Summary:

Laeuger sees the basic requirement for all education in art in the awakening and training of the senses. "To perceive colors and form, to read them, is to look into the soul of colors and form. The ability to do that cannot be acquired through reasoning. Observe nature, the sky, and the earth, follow the rules, experience their spirit, get in tune - that is the way. Important is to recognize who/what plays the lead and who the supporting role. Always keep your eye on the whole. One can achieve major effects with simple means."
