The name of Jim Dollar is almost unknown to Russian readers. Based on his biography, he is an American worker. He has never seen Russia. He knows her only from stories, from books, but from newspapers. Naturally, his descriptions do not correspond to Russian reality. Hence a number of curious incongruities.
