Rooms You May Have Missed: Bijoy Jain, Umberto Riva untersucht das Schaffen der Architekten Bijoy Jain und Umberto Riva, die zwar beide den Innenraum zum Ausgangspunkt nehmen, deren Hintergründe (Riva arbeitet in Mailand und Jain in Mumbai) aber unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten. Diese Gegenüberstellung ermöglicht es nicht nur zu einem neuen Verständnis von Raum zu kommen, sondern auch eine neue Art der Produktion von Raum zu entwickeln. Der Autor Mirko Zardini geht den Beweggründen von Riva und Jain anhand von Gesprächen und Besichtigungen ihrer Bauten nach und entdeckt gerade in ihren differierenden Herangehensweise unerwartete Resonanzen. Die Ausstellung, die unter dem gleichen Titel im Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal stattfindet, liefert das visuelle Material: Zahlreiche Fotografien führen die Arbeiten von Riva und Jain zusammen und zeigen zugleich die Ausstellungsarchitektur, die die beiden Architekten eigens für die Präsentation ihrer Projekte entworfen haben.
