Tatjana Schneider speaks on problematizing social engagement, as part of the weeklong workshop and seminar series Toolkit for today : activisms. Schneider is Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture at the University of Sheffield, where she researches the social and economic mechanisms of the production of space through projects such as the Agency Research Centre and Urban Education Live. Toolkit for today : activisms, interrogates the different forms that engaged practice can take for scholars of architecture. But what counts as activism? How can architectural research be mobilized in the service of society?
