Treats of architecture in general, with useful rules, remarks, and observations ; also many useful tables, for the better enabling the reader to make an exact estimate of the charges of erecting any edifice great or small, due regard being had to the conveniency and inconveniency of materials in different situations ; the whole illustrated with 140 cuts -- Book III. A parallel of architecture, in a collection of ten principal authors, who have written upon the five orders, viz.
