Artist and fashion designer Cinzia Ruggeri (1942–2019) made her artistic research a tool for inquiry into the functional and semantic properties of the object and the architectural and social dimension of the body, according to an original and nonconformist perspective enriched by irony and oneirism. This is the first monograph on this unconventional figure who moved across disciplines with absolute freedom. Her life and versatile practice were driven by the desire to redefine the formal and functional status of elements of everyday life, from apparel to accessories, from furnishings to lighting. Ruggeri created imaginative, provocative, elegant, and never predictable worlds.

This collection of unpublished or rare texts by Frederick Kiesler written between 1927 and 1957 is published on the occasion of the exhibition 'Function Follows Vision, Vision Follows Reality' at Kunsthalle Wien (May 27 August 23, 2015), curated by Luca Lo Pinto and Vanessa Joan Mu ller. The exhibition, developed in cooperation with the Austrian Frederick and Lillian Kiesler Private Foundation, focuses on Kiesler's ideas on display, and juxtaposes works of contemporary artists with a number of original drawings by Kiesler. Views of the exhibition are included in the pages of this publication.

Published on the occasion of Nathalie Du Pasquier’s solo show at MACRO – Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome, this book navigates the space between an exhibition catalogue and the artist book with juxtapositions of photographs of Nathalie Du Pasquier’s works, installation views of the show at MACRO, and extracts from texts by various writers and figures fundamental to her practice. These come together to create an extension of the exhibition itself, in a form that channels the spirit of the show: the pages become exhibition spaces embracing associations and combinations allowing for a deeper understanding and exploration of Du Pasquier’s work, and her imagination at large. It is a glimpse into the possibilities offered by her oeuvre, which can be approached, interpreted, and experienced from countless perspectives.
