In quella contraddizione le avanguardie storiche hanno dibattuto per affermarsi, spesso costruendo ideologie che la critica ha svelato, soprattutto quella degli anni settanta dello IUAV, poi ripresa da I. de Solà-Morales, dai gruppi americani di “Oppositions” e di “Any”.
