Participation is open to current undergraduate and graduate students (all levels), at participating universities as well as recent graduates. Students from any discipline are welcome to register. This year’s participating universities are: Carleton University Concordia University Laurentian University McGill University Ryerson University Université de Laval Université de Montréal Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) University of Toronto University of Waterloo The Charrette is also open to Canadian university students who are currently participating in study-abroad or exchange programs. Teams may also include students from additional universities worldwide, provided that at least one member is affiliated with one of the institutions above. 2. Teams must register online and provide the names, addresses, university affiliation of the team’s leader and all team members. Each team will receive a team number for identification. Team sizes must be within the following: Undergraduates: 2 – 5 members Graduate students: 2 – 3 members Recent graduates: 2 – 3 members 3. Teams wishing to combine graduate and undergraduate students should use the “Graduate Student” registration form, with each participant noting their educational level in the ‘Degree/Program’ section. Please note that combined teams are limited to 3 members maximum. Online Registration opens October 24th at 5pm. Submissions All project submissions are due by Sunday November 13th at midnight (EST). Please submit your final proposals through the link at the bottom of this page.Submissions are to take the following format: 1) Two digital panels (A2 horizontal in a single PDF format, maximum size of 10MB) must be submitted using the form received after your registration. 2) Optional: one video interview (30-60s) presenting the project (.avi, .mpeg4 or .f4v format, maximum size of 30 MB). The team number must appear in the file name. 3) One key image, representative of your proposal as a whole. Please submit as a .jpeg or .png file.Note: The team number must appear in the file name and at the bottom right of the panel. All project submissions (PDF and key images) will be posted on the Charrette 2016 website, with names of authors withheld until after the awards ceremony.
