This project series documents Melvin Charney design for an installation possibly entitled "The square within the square" through two sketches dated in 1979. As the title indicates, the installation consists in a what apears to be a square-shaped plaform nested in an walled area also shaped like a square.

The CCA decided that all material created by Melvin Charney and donated or purchased from Charney and his family should all be arranged and described under the Melvin Charney fonds to facilitate access.
