Letter, note, and plan concerning an unsanitary area (“Ilot insalubre”) in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. The Letter and note are addressed to “Woog.” The signature on the note is unclear, but it appears to read “M.S.” and the letter is signed by Architect Paul-Albert Pocheron. The letter and note are dated 30 January 1937 and 2 February 1937, respectively. The plan is undated.

This Letter, written after Le Corbusier’s death, predominantly concerns a book Tjader Harris was writing on Le Corbusier. The diazotype reproduces drawings by the architect (1943). Also includes 2 texts by Le Corbusier. Texts are a record of speeches given by Le Corbusier while in Chandigarh and include the architects’ “Presentation of the enamel gate of Punjab Legislature” and a presentation on modern housing (June 1953).
