Scope and Content

The project series documents the filmed performance "Architecture + Nature" produced by Pettena in 2011. The performance consists of the word "architecture" written in the sand slowly being erased by the movement of the waves. "The sea breaks slowly on the sandy beach... On it architecture stays. And the sea and its waves break with slow, constant, inexorable movements, like a bewitching, continual, eternal melody... And gradually architecture is dematerialized [...]." [1]

The project series contains a video of the performance, a drawing, and six film stills.
