Poole College of Further Education Competition
1951-1975
File 4
File documents an unsuccessful competition entry for the Poole College of Further Education, Poole, England, United Kingdom. Material in this file was produced between 1951 and probably after 1975.
File contains a map, presentation and publication drawings, photographic materials and a textual record.
Material in this project series was likely kept in its original order when it was first processed upon its arrival at CCA. Presentation drawings for the Poole College of Further Education were originally stored in a portfolio in James Stirling's office in London, together with student work, the community centre and town centre plan, Newton Aycliffe, thesis project, other early projects and drawings (the Merseyside film institute and office building, Honan scholarship project, the staircase bay, for James Cubitt Beatt & Partners, and redevelopment of Lambeth site, proposed block of flats, for W. G. Holford and L. G. Creed, the Poole College of Further Education competition entry, the village housing for the CIAM X Congress project) and other miscellaneous material dated between 1948 and 1955.
