How to Make Seed Bombs
The supplies.
Step 1: Combine 2 parts seeds with 3 parts compost.
Step 2: Add 5 parts clay.
Step 3: Moisten with water…
…until mixture is just damp enough to mould.
Step 4: Form balls the size of a $2 coin.
Step 5: Take seed bombs to residual spaces, throw, and let grow!
Seed bombs were one of the actions included in Actions: What you can do with the city, an exhibition and publication project we produced in 2008. We have also hosted several seed bombing workshops, most recently as a family program on Earth Day 2016.
