The assistants are (top to bottom): Iosif Aizikovich Meerzon (1900-1941), and Tevel' Markovich Shapiro (1898-1984 or later).

This manifesto describes architecture as the indicator of social customs, and identifies the factors guiding the character of Indian architecture. This document was given to Pierre Jeanneret by MARG editor Mulk Raj Anand in 1965.
